Color is the path of least resistance to Anita Varadaraju. As as artist, she is intrigued by it and does not hesitate to exploit it in her work. She has lived in many places, worked at different careers but painting has always been with her until she realized why. Everything is an inspiration, from nature to people to things to emotions and this is her translating most of it onto a surface....
Anita Varadaraju has been consistently creating a space for herself and her works by building an unique personality around them. Her works are warped in her energy and intensity. She believes every emotion gets poured on to her works one way or another. And sometimes the subconscious can be brutal when it jumps out from a painting. An artist cannot hide much...closed doors are only closed so they can be opened quickly and explored immediately!
Since childhood Anita has been painting and exploring, walking her own path towards today. Life has come a full circle for the artist. She is where she started, when as a child her imagination knew no bounds.
Now, working with world renowned Houston artist John Ross Palmer, Anita has realized why painting always stayed with her, why that talent would not let go of her and why she has learnt to embrace and love with it all she has.
